If you lead a sedentary life working on your computer many hours in a day, you will gain weight which could lead to health problems.
Simple exercises can help you remain fit while working on your computer : 1. Take a break regularly, stand up every 15 minutes and walk around. This will prevent strain on your eyes and also exercise your muscles
2. Stretch your neck by flexing it forward and backward, side to side and looking right and left. Stretch your legs regularly, this will also prevent formation of blood clots. Stretching your arms will also prevent you feeling stiff.
3. While waiting for large files or slow web pages to download, do some push ups or exercises. Do not sit still, even small movements like tapping your feet help in losing weight. However, in certain offices with extremely formal work environment, this may not be possible. |
